The true name of this character is Sunny-Kun, but it is popularly called Sunny-chan as a more affectionate term. Mascot for Datsun 1200 Sunny-chan (サニーちゃん, Sunny-chan, Sunny Funny, or Sunny-girl) or サニーくん (Sunny-kun, Mr. Sunny) is not-rabbit and not-dog. Sunny-kun first appeared around 1970 and is similar to a rabbit and mouse. The body color is yellow, with orange stripes. One ear is larger than the other (usually the right ear, but not always). There was a stuffed version available, about 53 cm high (life-sized).
