Wiring
The Cigarette Lighter has a single wire connection, a Blue (L) wire that comes out of the middle of the instrument panel wiring harness. It is grounded through the metal frame of the dash.
L - Blue wire +12V (round bullet connector) Not the longer LW (Blue/White stripe) which is adjacent
Since it is powered directly through the Fuse Box, the lighter socket works even when the key it out of the ignition.
