Datsun 1200 (B110) uses Type D104 58 mm wide pad, while HB210 and HB310 use similar-looking but wider pads.

Aftermarket Pads

Aftermarket is parts you buy from the parts store, as opposed to sold by the car manufacturer. They can vary from the original manufacturer's specifications in these areas:

Friction material (asbestos, organic, semi-metallic, ceramic, etc.)
Friction formula (high-temp, high-friction, low-dust, etc)
Pad surface area^
Anti-squeal features like a rubberized backing
Replacement-warning tabs

^Aftermarket pads tend to suppport many models, so have the largest pad. For example B110 and B310 use the same Type D41, but the B110 pad is spec'd at a smaller friction pad, while B310 uses a larger pad. Both will bolt on the other.
