Engine
Here it is! A big car 5-bearing crankshaft, a compression ratio of 9.0 to 1, a maximu torque of 0.7m/kg @ 3,600 rpm (SAE), these are only the beginning! You get 69 hefty horses, 1,171 cc displacement, 93.2 mph top speed, and yet unbelievable economy!
Suspensions
For new standards in road holding and maneuverability, suspensions received special priority. The result is rear suspensions specifically designed to complement the suspensions up front.
Front: independent strut type with coil springs, tension rods and stabilizer. Extra heavy telescopic shocks.
Rear: A semi-floating axle with tested semi-eliptic leaf springs. Extra-haevy telescopic shocks.
NUBC
Your coupe is surprisingly quiet and always free of rattling bolts. In fact, there are no bolts to work loose because of NUBC, Nissan's Unitary Body Construction. This is an expensive welding process that permanently joins chassis and frame as one rigid, safe unit.
