The Hitach H190 differential has a 190mm (7.49 inch) ring gear and can handle about 285 lb. ft. of torque, making it suitable for larger V6 or drag racing supercharged 1200s. H190 is the strongest live axle Hitachi fitted to Datsuns, and is available with lightweight aluminium carriers and a variety of stock ratios.

Swap Notes

Several Datsun owners have swapped an H190 into the Datsun 1200s. The Datsun 320 pickup rear axle is one inch narrower than the Datsun 1200 unit.

Ratsun contains a nice photo essay with general information.
