Datsun 1200 comes with an Hitachi H145 differential assembly, which is open (non-limited-slip), and the diff assembly unbolts from the front of the axle assembly (like Ford 9", but much smaller).

Pickup

The B120 came with standard or optional (heavy-duty) rear leaf springs. Standard was a 4-leaf pack, while optional was a 5-leaf pack with a stiffer spring rate.

Leafs: 1110 mm length, 50mm width

  • Standard: 4 leafs, (2) 6mm thick, (1) 7mm thick, (1) 13mm thick
  • Optional: 5 leafs, (2) 6mm thick, (1) 7mm thick, (2) 10mm thick

Free Camber

  • Standard: 118.5 mm
  • Optional: 118.5 mm

Laden Camber:

  • Standard: 18.5 mm/kg
  • Optional: 15.1 mm/kg
