The "Miss STP" Datsun 1200 NHRA Racer

Although imported sedans are not prominent on the drag-racing scene, the Nissan stormers are occasionally visible in this style of performance driving ... On the paved drag strips, ladie's closed-course record-holder and noted drag racer Paula Murphy now campaigns a Datsun in the modified compact class in the NHRA National Points series. Her race car, basically a 1200 with sundry aftermarket parts and an 1800cc Datsun engine, is a strong contender in the modified small car section of drag racing.

After recovering from a severe wreck, she got back into racing with a B Modified Compact Datsun and raced all over the country in NHRA.
