Operation
1972 USA Owners manual (Page 05 ... ):
Head restraints are designed by factory engineers so that they provide the strength to protect passengers from injury. Raise of lower it so that your head centers on the rest.
Avoid a vertical position which centers the restraint in the neck area.
To raise or lower the head rest, grab it with both hands then jerk up or push down.

Brown - PB110 GX
Front Head Rest, Truck
Until March, 1978, Sunny Truck came with thin headrests. These headrest bolt to the seat back, instead of using the two-prong fasteners like car seats. They may or may not be adjustable (i.e. move up/down).
Starting April 1978, Sunny Truck was fitted with high-back bucket seats with no headrest.

Rear Head Rest
The rear headrests bolt to the Parcel Shelf, instead of inserting into the seat back like the front headrests. Because they bolt on, they are non-adjustable.
