Large park-bench bumpers were optional on Australia and Japan-market B310s. As usual, North America required the large bumpers while other countries got a choice, including still-boxy but lighter bumpers and simple full-chrome versions.

One-piece VS three-piece Bumpers
- One-piece bumper bar is fashioned of a single piece of steel. It may or may not have rubber covers over the ends
- Three piece bumper consists a larger channel-shaped steel piece, and REQUIRED rubber end-covers. The channel piece is straight with no curved end -- only the rubber curves aroud the side of the car
The JDM/AUS three-piece bumper is a shock-aborsber design which appears to be lifted from the 1975 USA B210 5-mph bumper design (resistant to body damage in low-speed collision).

One-piece Bumpers
Early bumpers are one-piece, and continued to be used even after other styles were introduced. In Japan, they were used on all B310 except Wagon (WB310). One-piece bumpers were available with or without rubber end-caps and rubber strips.

Custom: Silver painted metal bumper (old-style STD look). B310 didn't use painted bumpers like B110 standard, but it makes for an interesting appearance.

This type of bumper has a channel-section center bar and each end is bolted to it (three pieces).

North America
North America used same bumper for all models (Sedan, Wagon, Coupe same). It is a large 5 mph crash-resistant shock-absorbing type. Just like the Japan OPTION bumper, except there are no reverse lamps in the North American bumper.
