The Core Support & Front Apron (valance panel) form the front of the car body.

Apron
The front-most finisher panel is the valance (apron).
The Front Combination Lamps bolt to it, and also the bottom part of the fenders bolt to it.

The apron panel upper edge has plastic grille lower brackets ... or none at all for early sedan/van/ute.
The upright slots in the apron are for the Bumper Stays to fit through
Core Support
The main front body panel is the Core Support, so named because it supports the radiator core. This panel forms the front of the Engine Bay. The grille is fastened to the support.

Note: The core support assembly includes the stay and rail, which were also sold seperarately.

Interchange
- The core support rail stay is the same for all models:
- 62522-H1001 STAY-HOOD CATCH (all models)
- sold separately but included with the Core Support assembly.
- The other parts differ by the grille used. The core support has brackets for one of these:
- Sedan Grille (core-mounted brackets)
- Plastic round-light grille (narrow spaced brackets)
- Plastic square-light grille (wide spaced brackets)
- The core support rail has either wide or narrow plastic grille upper brackets ... or none at all for early sedan/van/ute.
- The core support contains headlamp fittings for either sedan, coupe, or square-eye. Sedan/van and early utes Cores (H1000) have brackets for the grille.
