For 1972, the 1200 underwent a minor change. A new dash was fitted to all 1972 Sedan/Van/Coupe.

New dash features:

* lower-half wood grain finish
* podded instrument panel facia
* anti-glare covers for the speedometer, tachometer and Cluster Gauge

* The 1972 B110 dash pad has a single "hump" along the top edge shading the instrument cluster
* The PB110 dash pad has an additional "hump" over the glovebox door for a more symmetrical look

New podded instrument panels were used on regular Datsun 1200 B110, as well as with Sunny Excellent 1400 (PB110), as can be seen here:

Components

Instrument Panel

Of the Instrument Panel, only the Dash Pad and Glovebox Lid differ from original B110 versions. The panel itself (metal frame) is the same.

The glove box itself and all the hardware including hinge is the same, only the Lid differs.

Meter

Virtually all the parts of the meter - from the cluster lid to individual gauges and small parts - differ from the original B110 meter parts.
