the 1000 at huntley hillclimb in wollongong,1994.this is the access road to a colliery& is a public road,which acounts for all the burnout marks on the track.
this is my second try,my 1000 coupe club car exiting the dunlop loop & heading towards mazda house corner.it's pretty much full throttle from the corner behind the car,so it's going pretty fast about here.this was in 1994.
Wayland lives only about 7 miles from the park. But this 1/4 mile race car only has a 10 mile (max) range. So it needed a little juice to get back home. He topped it back up from two batteries.
This car would look good with a paint job, but the owner said the subframe is in "really bad shape". Jerry's planning on putting the parts into his 16-year old son's 1200. He's getting his third 1200 ready for the old 4AGE swap.
yes the car is ugly but GOOD LORD it pulls hard I would say with the L-20 it pulls in 4th gear like the A-14 in second or first just insane power to weight ratio
