Its all dirty and looks like crap but I'm just so happy after finding that 225s fit with wo work required Got the tyres off ebay, they arrived thismorning and they fried thisafternoon
They are old and crusty but who cares when they look this fat!
Big thumbs up to Tuggeranong Tyres too for the free fitting and balancing

That diff looks a lot like a Falcon diff. Did skylines and falcons run the same diff? Is it a LSD or open?

Falcons, Commodores and R31 skylines all ran the same BW78 diff.

Differences include:

1. LSD/Open
2. 25 spline/28 spline
3. 2.x, 3.08, 3.45, 3.9 in falcon/commodore.
4. 3.7, 3.9 in Skyline

 Re: Fat rear :)
yeh its only under the back coz that was the cheapest place to put it. Putting it in the cab would have meant cutting the floor and running fluid lines in etc=$$$.
Plus I wasnt 100% sure on the laws regarding it here. I know a guy with a 1600 who has one in his engine bay had to cut the knob off it to pass rego.

The exhaust is preventing it from going lower, its too close to the diff and hits on it if its lowered. I think it looks tough like this anyway :)
