This was done without any fine tuning.
I am going to fine tune the carbs due to black smoke coming out at high revs, Going to remove the airfilter as I did this run with the airfilter and also check and clean the spark plugs.
Also going to check the maximum advance of the timing.
Feral informed me about I think 36 degrees maximum mechanical advance.
I need to figure out how to set this.
I only know about 10 degrees with the timing light.

When I do the next run I will ask for rearwheel power.

I don't think you can 'set' 36deg advance, just check that you have it. If you're not getting full advance I'm pretty sure you have to take the dizzy apart and adjust the weights.

Just hook the timing light up like normal and rev the engine until you see the ignition has stopped advancing. Hold those revs and adjust it where you want it. You'll have to make some reference marks on the pulley to accurately read that much advance. I just used the marks on the cover to make extra marks on the pulley.

BTW... for feral... is this the recommended total advance for his A12 or what you would recommend for any NA A series with some mods? Like my A14, what would you recommend, because I'm running 32 total degrees now.
