Lookin good. I keep having thoughts about a ride on mower with an A-series in it. Jatco 3speed running dowen the middle. Just need a really short diff to make it happen. Seriously quick, fun and not to mention dangerous.lol

For our US friends, 'Billy Cart' is obviously Australian for 'soap box racer'

Surely you wouldnt send a kid up in a crate like that. [lol]
Good job Tommy, it's much better than my past efforts, although my ultra short wheelbase, both-axles-steering effort was a hoot. It needed a roll cage & a seat belt to prevent driver ejection to the side in a U turn.
I just love the flames.

Re: My wild billy cart project
theres no suspension which is a bugger, i was more concerned with the weight side of things, it can easily be picked up by 2 ppl, so its not that heavy at all, as for braking, i am currently working on it, i have hooked up bike brakes but they just dont seem 2 wanna play fair, lucky the hill that we test on has a big flat area at the bottom so somebody can chase after us 2 slow it down. good fun in all.

hi tommy nice cart you got there try using stuff called core flute ,try your local sign writer they may have some old signs lying around made of it for the body.put some serious camber on your kart it will handle heeps better you can also by a brake cable spliter that will run two brakes off one brake handle id also go for some 16inch wheel this will lower the centre of gravity and help with the braking and you will go faster .cheers geoff
