This poster depicts passenger models. The B120 is regarded as part of the truck range.

They didn't leave the best Datsun out. Now you gotta figure out which one it is.

Notice that the 1200 is a two door sedan, which is just about the ONLY 1200 passenger model that they DIDN"T sell here

Coolest car?
The Cedric!

They have this poster at the nissan dealer in ACT.
It's lamenated.
I asked if he would sell it to me.
He said no.
I asked if I could borrow and scan it.
He said no.

I wouldn't mind a bigger copy of it though...
You have a PM.

Lobster
When Nissan first released the Cedric, in Melbourne i think, they held a press conference to maximise the publicity.

They showed the car & delivered a speech that announced the name of this new model as "Cedric"
One reporter called out, "Cedric,... thats a poofters name" The very polite Japanese company exec enquired if Australia had many of these people.
Quick as a flash, another reporter called out, sure, we got heaps of 'em.
Straight faced, the executive said "then we shall sell a lot of cars i think" & the name remained unchanged. They did sell a lot of them, & the company went from strength to strength in Australia for many years.

At least, thats how the story went when it was told to me.

That is a really nice peice of artwork, I too would'nt mind a copy..please. Last week on trademe.co.nz there was a Datsun spotters guide which was hung in parts depts for people to identify their cars, it had over 80 different models..I was asleep when the bidding closed and missed it !!
