Heres a pic of my custom propshaft (so hopefull no more embarrising start line breakages).  In the back ground is the stainless fuel transfer pipe to connect my origional fuel fill point to the new skyline fuel tank

I thought there would be power loss in coupling there due to the angle... as my friend customize the control arm to adjust it to the right angle in his B310...

or u would drag until it is parallel?

think the pinion is supposed to be parrallel with the gearbox output shaft, as the tailshaft angle will change depending on the ride height
dont think you would notice any power loss due to the slight angle in the unis......unless your cars really underpowered

My pinion angle and gearbox output shaft are pretty dam close to parallel so I am happy.

OK, Yes it is the diff and fuel tank from an R31 skyline but a sedan not a wagon but I am sure there is no difference in the 2.

Yes you could relocate the fuel filler but it was just ALLOT easier to run a short pipe from the origional fill point.

As for the angle of the diff/propshaft, they dont have to be parallel but you also dont want any HUGE angles. Just have a think of some of the 4WD's out there with massive lift kits in em and imagine what angles the propshafts are in them, some run double carden shafts to reduce the angle but its still pretty harsh.

Question....looking at the fuel filler pipe, i wounder if you can relocate the filler pipe to the back of the 1/4,.....
prob no room to do so

hey champ is that a skyline r31 diff,...and the skyline fuel tank is it from a wagon!!!
