This was the 4,3:1 Alfa Romeo limited slip diff which I ran for 7 odd years. After a few runs using a wiff of nitrous ontop of 2 bar boost, it went "crash tinkle tinkle" Rest in pieces faithful diff! |

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: Bitsa diff What is the stud pattern on these diffs, 4x108? How wide is the diff and did you need to narrow it, I guess you just removed the alfa link rod mounts and welded on datsun leaf spring saddles?
Ooh external res dampners nice.

![](http://datsun1200.com/images/icons/no_posticon.gif) Re: Bitsa diff Came with the standard bolt pattern at 4/108 for alfa(?), but got it drilled to 4/114 and did not narrow it at all, just welded pads on the side shaft tubes to locate on the leafs. Comes out of a Alfa Berlina late eighties - the only on with a 4,3:1 ratio. The side shafts are REALLY big on these LS diffs, and have now become as common as rocking horse turd due to the amount of people putting them in Datto utes. Broke it the week before the last race in South Africa that I was able to attend, and couldn't find the replacement bits in a week, so I pulled the whole car to pieces and sold the rolling chassis for 10K ZAR - bloody give away!!
