Well, if that is the case, space the 'cooler out another 2"s and cut the grill!

Whack a 4" exhaust tip while you are at it!

It is actually reasonably common. I will be doing it on mine, except, I'll get a quote on black anodising first though. Anyone else aware of the costs of anodising an intercooler?
