 Re: Update May 2010 No. I made the cut as close as possible to the pivot point on a 45 degree angle so hopefully they should be ok. They are 2 arms cut and shut to make one, the one arms behind are what is left. I have plated the full underside with 2.5mm sheet.

 Re: Update May 2010 why not make them adjustable. if you have the skill to extend them, making them adjustable just as easy.

 Re: Update May 2010 I just wanted them as strong as possible,I've got adjustable strut tops. If I have done my sums right the adjuster will be smack in the middle and if thats the case I might even go back to a standard top mount and only use the adjustables to help get me out of trouble if I hit something.
I'm not that keen on the 'T' bar arms.
The Z struts and brakes are also unbeleivably heavy.
