Hows your software Chris can you read that part number?

Based on my parts book, and what I can see in photoshop..

It's 84823-G7200
but it could be
84823-G1200

Several of the GX badges start with 84823. This why I think this. The second part looks like 7200, and although the G is not clearly visible, I'd think this is probably it, because the second generation of B110 and first generation of B120s had G's in their parts specs. I would have thought it would be H... But The G is more plausible.

I'd love one...Don't know what I'd do with it though. My CA powered beasty is not really a GX-5 It's a 5 speed though.. Now you've got me wanting a 3rd (EDIT:..hang on 4th) Datsun..I'll have to have kids soon..just so I can say that some of my cars are theirs..

I need a holiday, so if you can get one or two spares, I'll come on up and collect it. I'm sure we could spend several nights talking Datsuns over dinner down near the beach, while I spend the days doing what Surfers is known best for..relaxin...

Don't know what I would do with the badge either apart from show it to my mates and say " look at my GX5 Badge"

My parts book shows a totally different number:
62330-H7225 Emblem - "GX 5 Speed" radiator grille. This is the Japanese book from July 1972.

ddgonzal..I respect that ths is an old thread, but I believe that the number that we can see, is a number for the coupe trunk lid emblem.

Wow those are cool emblems! I like the script "GX". I'm sure the number of those here in the US could be counted on 1 or 2 hands.
