Re: A/C from a later model 1200 I'm pretty sure that I have one of those regular consoles at home someplace.
They were available in Auto and Manual trim. They were more common in Auto trim, because all Auto's had to have at least this model of console to house the auto shifter arrangement.
Fitting an aftermarket shifter boot isn't too hard. But I haven't seen too many original ones in great condition.

Re: A/C from a later model 1200 Yeah they came in all the later utes here. I fitted a B310 console though. Full console minus arm rest. Much more useful plus it looks factory fitted. I installed my head unit in it too since my dash has gauges where the stereo once was.

Re: A/C from a later model 1200 I'm guessing the dashboard is not late model, but rather a 71-73 GL dash. The late utes (from what I've seen) all have round gauges like 1200 coupes.

Re: A/C from a later model 1200 Don't they sell 'em three to a pack now at Taco Bell?
Seriously though, three tachometers get people talking about the car.

Re: A/C from a later model 1200 the way I see it it has a GX5 dash, aftermarket a/c and a ute console personally I like the coupe console this would make room for a fourth tacho-one for each piston Ade
