Reminds me of the time I was in my 1200 wagon in a back street here in Sydney. I didn't see the flat topped speed hump, and I basically hit the hump and the car not only cleared the hump, but also cleared 1 meter of the road beyond it. I had my foot on the throttle as I was flying over it, and landed amid the screech of the wheels running at 20kmh more than my ground speed (aviation talk)

We actually smashed the old strut tops and punched holes through the bonnet when we landed, still finshed the stage though but the car was steering a bit funny. Went on to finish the event too which was a good effort under the circumstances. That section of road doesnt really show it but the rest of the rally was 140Kms of the muddiest racing I have ever done
