Hi all, I have just sent a mail of to Luois Lima, asking him to possibly log on to this site, and give us some more info about his car. I don't know if he will, but there is always hope...

HOLEY KRAPP, that turbo has sucked all the paint off the bonnet in front of the intake.

Good to hear that he is still in business!

I'm sure he's been an inspiration to many of us.

His best run of 8,6sec @ 252KM/h is STILL my main aspiration to carry on and throw more money at my ute to make it quicker. This bakkie still runs a leaf-spring rear end and full metal shell - no space frame here! Not only did that turbo suck the paint off the bonnet, it morphed the mild steel into smooth alloy plate too......

WOW, that getting close to the insane racing rayglass datsun! And there isn't much datsun left there. I'm impressed. If he used nissan power for it, it'd be even more nuts!

They haven't closed shop. Louis Lima used to own Nitrous and Turbo performance, but sold that off. He then ran a shop selling performance parts and stuff from the same premises for a while, but eventually went back to his old ways.

Old ways? Yes he opened another tuning/conversion/performance shop, but this time on the grounds of the Wesbank Raceway. The shop is actually located in under the grandstand along the main straight. The blue monster is still in his possession, and it stood in the shop about a month ago when I went and bought my copper clutch plate from them. He also still seems to own the black Mazda Rustler one he built, as it was standing there as well. That one has never run a full run though, they had ample problems with it for some reason...

You can see their new web page here Louis Lima Racing.

The bakkie's best quarter was a 8.6's, at what speed I don't remember.

They are always very help full and friendly, and will give you tips, hints and help with a lot of knowledge if you ask. They're prices are also very comparable to others.

This was a free plug, not because they sponsor me or gave me anything for free, but because they've always given me good service when needed.

Company that owns it has left the web ??

Maybe it's game over?
