IF YOU ONLY KNOW THAT THIS CAR BELONGS TO A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE AND THE WORST PART IS THAT CAR WAS LIKE NEW WITH ONLY 27,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER

that looks awesome, i love it

if there wasnt awesome 1200s with huge mods, not so many people like us would be attracted to the 1200s and restoring them i reckon, instead they would be forgotten

i mean my red coupe has heaps of mods although still looks like a 1200 apart from flares, the only standard 1200 mechanicals is the steering box, but one ride in that has my mates wanting to buy a 1200

It's great that so many 1200's are being saved from the junkyard. What's not so great is all the cars that end up being modified beyond recognition. These 1200's might start their drag racing careers with stock bodies, but as their drivers gain experience, competitiveness and sponsers, they lose more and more of their 1200ness.
