Re: Sunny 1200/Excellent 1400 Was the bonnet bulge for a purpose (the L14) or was it cosmetic only?

Re: Sunny 1200/Excellent 1400 It was cosmetic. The L series was laid over on it's side and it's valve cover was'nt central any way. More importantly who posted this pic?? I havent got this brochure . where how . why , can I get a full JPG copy. I love these things....

Re: Sunny 1200/Excellent 1400 Interesting how the JDM portrayal of women has changed from sophisticated to childlike.

Re: Sunny 1200/Excellent 1400 This "bulged hood" on the Sunny 1200 was used on both GL and GX models. But only newer ones. The first year or two they used the regular hood. Probably was in 1973 when they switched?
A lot of the JDM brochures show GL emblems on the fancy sedan grille too, it seems they changed the grille and bonnet at the same time.
Also there are three different round-gauge dashes: - regular "GL" dash, like most of us have (including USA Deluxe models) - A wood-grained dash in the early GX - A deeply hooded dash with non-reflecting pointed gauges covers, used on newer GL and GX models
