No motor or Trans. in car. Car is ready for a KA24-12 valve motor and 280ZX Trans. to be dropped in, with both crossmembers.

It sounds to me that there is some question about the Supra Wheels on my car. The wheels worked fine on the car before I pulled the A12 motor out of it. The cat has been sitting in this spot for many months with me moving it back and forth from time to time. The car has been lowered and it does have a lot of parts in the back. I also need some more air in the tires. I had a hard time getting this pic. posted. I don't do tricks with pics. Not my bag. Thanks NO for looking out.

Syl

P.S. If I had the help to get the rest of it back together, I wouldn't think of letting it go. Also the 12valve and the 16 valve both fit in this car. Both motors kick butt in this car.

I've always thought the KA24E and DE would make the 1200 too nose heavy. How much do they weigh?

There's no way getting around extra weight for extra power really. I think the best deal really has got to be the SR20DET, stock they're putting out DOUBLE what my hopped up 15 second A-15 engine is. Add to that a bigger turbo, injectors, I/C, tuning, and you're talking easily over 300hp!

I was just looking at a 510 website that had comparisons of some modded Nissan engines, a little modded SR was doing just as good as a VG30DETT and revved higher too. That's gonna be my engine transplant of choice. Although seeing that photoshop pic of a convertible 1200 sedan got me really excited. That'd be a fun project! It looked sooo nice too! Maybe when I get back to the US.

Yes, the ka motors are the heaviest of the lot, even heavier than the fabled fj.Quote:

We'll I don't want to be a pessimist, but it has yet to be done in a LHD street car that I know of. The ca18 is a more realistic choice, I think.

Interesting. Gives an aggressive look to a cutesy body. Can anybody photoshop those wheels and color in the flares?

if you have a look at the front wheel, it will appear to have a point in the rim and also that area is pixely. also the rear wheel, the rim is completly out of angle with the whole car. either the car is extremly ####ed up or its been fabricated in some photo editing software.

It looks good to me. Appears he used several pieces of masking tape to protect the rest of the paint while doing the flares. That's why it looks all edgy. You'd have to get flares to fit those wheels, makes sense to me...it looks lowered, but there's no engine in the car that's why the front is up and suspension looks so whack. I think it's legit. What's the deal with Ka24 setup though??? Why can't a KA24DE fit in there? They'd have the same engine/mounting right? It'd be a much better engine than the anemic KA24e just my 2 cents okybe.

Sly's a straight forward, honest guy. I already bought one of his sedans. I figure it's 100% ligit, cause he told me about it before he decided to sell. Will go see it in a few weeks. Sits funny cause it is lowered with no drive train in it. And tons of stuff in the trunk.
