Re: Engine 3 you would use round tubing and proper bends to make your manifolds in a perfect world..
using this plenum style creates alot of backpressure but are we really worried about that on an engine this size..? Me no thinks so...
We will see how it works soon and I'll let you all know

Re: Engine 3 BTW cheater, in response to your post on the other picture.. it is a blow through setup.. Im just debating whether to change everything right now, get a smaller turbo and have my carbs on the port side of the engine as opposed to going over the top of the valve cover...
Does anyone know what problems may occur from putting your carb so far away from your ports (so that the air/fuel mix has to travel a long way to make it to the engine.. if you know what I mean?)

Re: Engine 3 ive heard length gives torque and that it probably atomises the fuel better throw the carbs on the other side with an intercooler at the front or just fab up efi im thinking about making a efi a series set up just for fun maybe sell it

Re: Engine 3 Yeah, sounds good, I will definately have to put the carb on the other side with this size turbo..
The only problem with the SU style carbs is that they are really tall and will hit the inside of the bonnet quite easily so I will have to mount it quite low...
The only other option is to get a smaller (demensionally) turbo and make a whole new manifold.. I can get a couple of T25s off of a 300ZX twin turbo..
Im so torn, cuz Im so far into it already.. I would prefer not to go back to square one!
