Re: More chasers DD Ive always called em Pursuits as well. Our new to us dunnydore has em. They fit them to the police cars maily cause they are a steel rim that can take a flogging kerb jumping and such. Most standard cars come with alloys now, so they dont really cope with that sort of abuse. At least thats what my brother said, and I would believe him since he worked at a holden dealership fitting police packs for a number of years.

Re: More chasers i also believe that genuine police pursuit wheels were 15x7inch, all others looked the same but were 15x6 and adopted the same name..
nowdays theyre using 16's i think

Re: More chasers haha if you were in perth you could get them custom made !
there is a place in perth that makes them and has different width wheels and you can choose your ofset ,size (15,14) and stud pattern and they are pretty cheap too
or you can get them of and R31 skyline (14) and they will bolt straight on ,or you can go for R31 skyline sillouette wheels (15) and they will bolt on 240k or stanza struts no probs or you can run spacers aswell to fit them onto 120y or 1200 coupe struts

Re: More chasers i think because in australia police pursuit vehicles (aka chasers) are fitted with them. so theyve become commonly known as 'chaser' wheels
i have a set of saab 15x5.5 'chasers' if anyones keen. but the offset is not as nice as these (a little more positive) and require spacers with some setups. they have 175/50 tyres front, 185/55 rear

Re: More chasers ah, pursuits. I had a set of similar wheels on my pursuit mustang 5.0. They had holes just like the ones here. It was funny, because they were alloy wheels painted black to simulate the steel wheels on cheaper cars.
