Re: Speedline mag on 1200 sedan 1
I can vouch for just how well Bennys car runs. It's in a 'modest' state of tune, but the end product is greater than the sum of its parts, as all good Datsuns are.
The single carb is now well tuned, & for a 'paltry' 1200, it gets with the program very nicely, ... very nicely indeed.

My initiation was before the new seats went in & the passenger suffered a bit at the end of the day, but the suspension is well sorted & it sticks to the road like s**t to a blanket. If I can get mine to run as well, I will be more than happy.

Loved the steering wheel.
Good one Benny.

Yes he did. The man in the 'Nissan' shirt [first photo] is the proud owner & was my driver for the day.
The first post is a bit wordy, but gives a passable description of how the day went.

Slowly getting it upto GX spec, engine is A12, 56 series trans, H145. Option parts for interior. This one is built for economy. However saying that it is very responsive an handles like a dream. I currently get approx 340 miles to the tank...

The racecar is the toy and has the mods and $ thrown at it, this one is just the daily drive. Thanks for the kind words though....
