Yes, I agree...the B210 as well as many other cars of that notorious-bumper era ( Mazdas Rx 2, 3 , 4, 5, Datsun B210, 710, 610, etc...) received the "Park Bench" style bumpers. Any of those cars with the appropiate bumpers would had been handsome looking.

The Datsun 1200 and the 510 ( 1600 in Aussie land & NZ) escaped the affront because those models stopped being sold just before....imagine a 1200 with the "park Bench" bumpers .... what an insult!!
That picture of the RX3 in a previos response looks like a 1950's refrigerator !!

I love the B210....provided the park bench bumpers are tossed away into a volcano in Hawaii and the 1950's refrigerator look is anyhilated for good

I understand those bumpers were hefty....so a volcano in Hawaii ( active and boiling) is the appropiate end for such an affront!!

lol i guess i'm one of the few that likes these cars.

oh, i seem to be in the minority that enjoys the US-spec bumpers too, mainly because they're just like battering rams. i accidentally backed into my friend's POS lancia and crunched his fender a bit, but there wasn't even a scratch on my b310.

they make me feel safer.

It's the big ugly bumpers that do it.

Ruins the whole look of the car in my opinion...

I've always wanted to obtain a US spec 120Y (B210) and fit it with aussie 120Y bumpers, taillight panel, and grille etc.

it would be interesting being LHD and all...

I have the same exact desire.. a RHD 120Y ( with badges and all, I would like to tell people....yea....it is not a B210..this is the special sporty model 120Y...only 5 made in the world!!! )

Seriously, a RHD 120Y would be cool
