Two styles were used. Don't get stuck with the newer, longer one.

 Re: Keys
Mine's not original but it looks like the one on the left. The grooves look like the one in the middle.
Cole DA21/Ilco X7
It fits the doors, trunk and ignition

 Re: Keys
The grooves are for the keylock, so they are the reverse of the actual key.

Interesting that some 1200s (newer utes?) came with two different keys originally. The 1971-1973 north american models came with single key for ignition, doors and trunk.

 Re: Keys
I have two pair of 'replacement' keys for my '73 1200, but no originals.
Both of the double sided 'door' keys are Silca DAT6R blanks while the oval ignition keys are
Silca DAT5 or
DL [Australia] MZ12

When viewed from the end of the key, the cross section is the reverse of the cross section in the illustration, but would be the same if you were to cut them through, discard the 'handle' part, then view the cut part. Who cares, they are still available & they fit & work.

 Re: Keys
I still have one original key to my partners 71' Sedan which doesnt have steering lock, its the same size as the one in the middle, she uses a recut one like in the middle and i have a large recut one like on the left.

My 72' Sedan has steering lock so it has ignition key like on the right and 2 recut ones like the middle key for locks.
