Here you can see the angles involved. Unfortunately number 1 and 2 cylinders' gasses will have to make a slight turn when entering the ports, but fortunately the gasses will also hit these ports head on, so that should help a little. Big ports anyway, so it shouldn't make a difference.Top right you can see what I mean by the ports being hit directly.

Bottom left is the back of the plenum..duh and bottom right shows that front...double duh. However, this little AL plate was also the most difficult to make, as the angled part of the plenum makes a rounding here, but where it meets the intake port, it's flat. I first tried to hammer a piece of the AL pipe to fit, bit that broke with about the second blow. Then tried a piece of AL plate, which lasted about 10 knocks before breaking.

I then had a bit of liquid bread, to get the patience levels up if you know what I mean, and took about 30 minutes shaping another piece of AL plate to fit. The rest was just sawing at the right angles.

Had it al welded up at a local engineering shop, still don't know how much it'll cost, because I still have to make the throttle mounting plate and have it welded as well.
