get the old bearings & go to somebody like CBC Bearings or SKF,& they should be able to supply these for between $100 to $150. I've put new bearings in both types of 5 speeds over the years & if you can give them the numbers off the existing bearings,they have them in stock.this is one case where buying from Nissan is not economical. Where do you think nissan gets the bearings from, anyway ? it's a lot to pay for some pretty boxes.

I jus bought the main shaft bearing the counter shaft bearing and the tailshaft bearing for this same box from bay engineers (a local bearing supplier) for $60nz. and 1 of those bearings had to come from aussie.

I thought that was preety cheap.
