man thats not fair...i like am both...i've sat in a GT-40 aswell...i still cream over it...but still...the gt-40 rocks and the mini...well...thats good 2

When I first sat in a gt40 the first thing I did was scaredly impulsively think of how to steal it.
The mini like the abarth fiats are classic embarrassments to porshe and other exotic owners. The funny thing is I found a site with all the races around the world since 1927 and in the fuji raceway enduros till the early eighties 3-4 sunnys featured in the top ten results next to Lola, Ferraris, porsches and other le mans exotics!!!
The hemi should have kept using the v8. In a recent ford vs chev vs hemi article with a same carbs and cams specs the hemi had almost 40 or more hp over the others without a cheating 30hp adding electric water pump like the chev and ford used!!!!!!!!! Pity hemi stuff is so pricey compared to chevs. Otherwise we could use v8 halve cut all alloy hemi 4s in our dattos like the chopped gerty 4 cyl chev halve v8s used in the top speedway cars with down draft carbs or injection (slant 45 degree 4) and easy exhaust manifold escaping down below. Now if only the ugly local Magna would use one instead of the chev engine it used in the 24hr Nations Cup were it just beat a worked 1.5 lancer (the smaller brother mitsu kept its nose ahead most of the way only to be taken in the straights) only to be disqualified for using a different makers engine!! The Monaro used a special 427 that had to be heated to 100 degrees by electricity before they cranked it up for the race. I say the 5.7 is all that the magna hybrid'll need against the bigger 427 cause this new engine seems to rock.
