this is Brian's engine.

one of the original works Yokohama/ Enkei race cars.
Still completely original with Enkei slide throttle body and Kugelfischer injection pump.

Is it the fact that the engine is a an (standard 1200 issue) A12 with the distributor up the front of the motor and not in the middle like the later A12's? If i'm way off give me a hint.

The gigantic radiator?

I have been staring at it for like 5 minutes and can't see anythign else....




Or that cooler thing next to the radiator?

Or the no oil breather or hose?

What are those odd spacers on the strut top?

What are those hoses on the oil pump? Oil cooler I reckon, which doesn't seem too odd.

The bonnet is missing, but I think I see pins for it.

Spacing the strut towers isn't that unusual. It would stop the shocks bottoming out. I was looking at the pic for a while and thought it strange that it appears to be running standard style ignition not the Datsun Competition CDI units. The motor is also lowered at least 30mm. The radiator cap is in the centre of the radiator. And the fuel injectors are under the manifold.......oh and the colour of the engine block is the wrong shade of blue
