d'oh its a black square again...

Turns out one of the wheels is slightly buckled, but the guy who was balancing them for me happened to be the guy who built the FJ20et 120Y that kegz's mate bought, and he's selling me 2 more as spares :)

gonna get the rears widened to 7" or 7.5" and put 205s on the back

yeh I didnt know it was buckled til I saw it on the balancing machine, its not bad enough to say i wouldnt drive on it, but I'm getting 2 more tomorrow so I'll just pick the best one.

Thanks again dude

 Re: chasers :)
haha yeah tyres... I dunno yet, I assume theres something in the way of a 215 or 225 low profile available that will match or be slightly larger in rolling diametre than the 195/50 at the front. If there's not I'm buggered lol. Just have to fit 205/50 and have the angled tyre wall thats so good for performance lol

Can anyone find tyre manufacturer's websites that list a complete range of tyres they produce? I cant seem to find any, all the sites i can come up with just have the taxi bait and specials listed...

The 5.5 wide wheels should fit.

The stock 6" and 7" wide Sillouettes won't fit the B110 or early B210 disc-brake strut.

 Re: chasers :)
with the widened wheels on the rear end will be... very wide

haha the diff is a cut down borg warner, which I believe is a bit longer than standard. I am getting them done at the wheel factory (JAX) in Fishy and they are costing more than steel rims are worth spending money on...

$150 a rim, with me supplying the original rims, $250 a rim if they provide the centres

yeh thats the 8" rear, eded up going with 205/50. They are recommended to go on a max 7.5" rim, but they arent stretched too bad.

You're supposed to use lithium AA batteries in your digital camera, not regular AA batteries...
[edit: I should have said "nimh" batteries]

I don't get the rotary reference. A 200hp rotary gets fuel economy similar to a 200hp six cylinder.

This battery thing is more like putting E85 in your new GM car, it uses *more* fuel total, but it uses less gasoline.

well I have a couple of sets of 1700mAh Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargables that were $25 a pair, they were good for a while but are pretty much worn out now.
Is it true what they say if you put them in the freezer overnight they'll be good again?

back on topic, my powerhouse 120Y managed a 15.7 @ 144km/h today. Gtech reckons I have 72kw

 Re: chasers :)
nice work..

144kmh = roughly 86mph

i managed 15.5 @ 85mph with my stocker 12a

must of had similar power

with a big launch on sticky track you could easily drop that time to 15.0 i reckon

I reckon with a big launch on a sticky track I could have popped the gearbox

Does anyone want a pair of 15x8 chasers? They are Hyundai centres (less holes than R31) and more of a positive offset. Dude wants $200 for the pair. Thats what I paid for just one of mine, before paint. If anyone's interested I can put them onto the seller, just PM me.
