Fitted a venetian the other day,  Bought it off one of the 1200 site members.  Looks pretty cool I reckon.

Ahhhh, a venetian, one of the more practical things that one can add to his ride. This is because they .....

Keep the sun off the rear seat passengers necks & also protect the seat from sun damage.
are tamper proof because they are inside the car.
look really cool in an old school kind of way.
help the air conditioning [when fitted] to work better by reducing the rate of heat buildup inside the car.
offer a degree of privacy.
are reasonably priced, even when buying them new, particularly when you remember that they are not a 'consumeable' item. Buy one, fit it, then reap the benefit forever.

Yes, you can still buy these new & I have a new one each for my 1000 & 1200 coupes.

That chrome boot lid trim piece looks smooth too. I haven't seen many of those around.

Great score Benny & looking good.

about time we got some decent pics of this beast!

love the colour, love the wheels/whitewalls, love the plates, love the venetian.
Only thing I would do if it was mine would be to strip all the window tint out, they look heaps better with clear glass IMHO

I think you are right there Tyrie....Removing the old tinting [circa 1980's] is diffinately on the cards. I am looking for a proven method to remove old window tinting.

Anyone????

Steam is the best method, but you need a steamer, heat gun works great but the fumes off the old adhesive are pretty crook.

the key is to get it off in one sheet, razor blades etc are a no no.
