Thanks mate.
The lower control arms are standard but my engine crossmember has been redrilled to locate the arms further out for more camber. I also have camber plates.

Rebuilt CA18DET with forgies, GTi-R T28 turbo etc - 163rwkw on 15psi.

Front end - 120Y strut legs with coilover sleeves, 225lbs King springs, externally adjustable Koni yellows, custom camber plates (currently @ -6 degrees), adjustable castor rods (currently +5 degrees), custom swaybar to clear the winged sump, rebuilt S13 CA18DET brakes with slotted RDA rotors and Endless pads.

Rear end - rebuilt R31 LSD, Koni reds, Caltrac set up, over rider springs removed, 3" lowering blocks, rebuilt R31 brakes with Redback pads.

I used to run Pagid pads and experienced no brake fade at all but, as they were worn out, I tried some Endless pads yesterday and experienced fade issues big time. I will try some Ferrodo pads for the next sprint and hook up some ducting and hopefully lower my times into the 61's.

Cheers Matty

Matty, was good too meet you yesterday. Your car looked great on the track, its something i definitely wont to get involved in. My brother can be a wolly sometimes haha your cheer squad.

Was a pitty about the dodgy driving of the other racers, not letting you pass, must have been frustrating.

Kev was there for a little while.
when you get a spare chance would you mind sending me Specific details about your suspension set up and who i need to go talk to please.

Hopefully ill see you out the again shortly, My lanky mate will be running his N14 SSS with turbo looking at 270fwkw, so next time we will be involved too.

Also ill get pics and details of thoughs U13 brakes rotor size etc.

 Re: QR Pits
DAT51K - Just ring Kev Rowley if you would like a set up like mine. Very simple.

2QIK4U - Cheers mate. It's always good to meet fellow datsun1200.com members. The guy in the Capri who was driving like a goose lunched his motor in the second session so the rest of us had a good run. Let me know when you guys are heading back out there and I will try to make it out too. I will send you a PM this week with the suspension details.

Regards Matty

 Re: QR Pits
Thanks Ange

I don't like the oil cooler or the bonnet vents but they are an unfortunate necessity to keep underbonnet temperatures in check. I spent a long time trying to find a suitable, yet hidden, location for the oil cooler without success.

Given the choice between cooking the oil and having the oil cooler look silly I'll take a silly looking car any day.

Thanks again for the interest.
