Re: KB10 Interesting brake booster position. That should be an alternative position for it in LHD 1200 and 120Y's with twin DCOE issues.I wonder what the linkage looks like

Re: KB10 Jaime, the brake booster is a single circuit, inline type. It is quite possibly a PBR VH44 which was quite popular back in the 50's & 60's over here. They do not use any mechanical linkage at all.
datto1000wagon, note that this is a later type A12 engine, possibly from a B210 [120Y] but much more likely from a B310 model.
From the position of the rotary compressor, it is probably an aftermarket instalation as the factory one for these engones is mounted low, under the water pump inlet pipe. From what I have learned, the original 1000 & 1200 compressors were probably a twin cylinder type. [York type]
The fan shroud is interesting.

Re: KB10 Dodge....are those systems available today? I can see the advantage when confronted with twin Weber issues in LHD dattos. In particular the A series engined ones, I think the L series have more area to play with.

Re: KB10 The brand name is PBR [Patens Brake Replacements] & they made a range of these brake boosters, but the VH44 seems to have been the most widely used.
