Grille fitted, head lights still loose, just propped up to see what it will look like, but grille fitted...

I prefer the old metal grille, with round lights, but it fits to deep to go over the IC, so this will have to do. Will try to fit the old grill later.

What donk you running, isnt there room to mount the cooler and radiator back a bit, you do have to chop the rad support tho! Looks nice but!

Nice Francois! Love your work, looks pretty good with the bakkie grill and lights, would look better with the chrome stuff though!

I'm running a 4AGZE, but with the turbo conversion. There might be room, but everything fits real nice as it is, and it gives me more room on the inside. There is no rad support anymore, that was the first thing that was cut out. If you look at my pics, you would see what I did to mount the Golf radiator.

Most people mount a cooler that is only as high as the grille, but is much wider then. But I couldn't find one(not in my price range anyway), so opted for this one. It is 75mm thick btw, and runs from right under the bonnet catch to level with the bumper's underside.

The piece of cooler show gives it that naughty look from the front...

Thanks WiteSedan, I try my best, and am really taking my time, but it's getting close to being finished now. I received the copper clutch the other day, and as soon as the oil pan has been modified, I'll fit the donk and box. Then it's only to connect a few wires, and it's running...
