THE man who bought the last Monaro has just paid a record $680,000 for a 36-year-old Falcon that isn't even registered.

Darryl Mattingley outbid a field of rivals to pay $683,650 for a rare 1971 Ford Falcon GTHO Phase III at a classic car auction in Melbourne on Sunday.

If the R/T in that shed is what I think it is, it will still blow the Ford into the weeds, but lets get back to planet earth, I couldn't afford to FEED either of them, let alone buy one, so it's Hellooooo to my small Datsuns, the affordable classics.

Yep that is a wild beast, classic American muscle. I can only dream of owning/building a shed that has no spider webs, no dust and a proper floor. Hang on, thats not a shed... that will be my lounge room.

Could be a 1200 sedan tucked under the bonnet.

Just remembered, this dude up at Lake Macquarie had the bottom story of his shack converted to a Ferrari showroom. The walls were frosted glass with Ferrari logo cutouts the whole way around. The bloke had four stallions, including an original Dino!

Yeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Also note the 2 burnout marks leading out of the garage.

Where would you put all your spare parts though? All those little Datsun things that you collect and dont want to throw away because they may be worth something... Ive seen better garages, including ours. Double carport as a workshop then infront of that, my 1000, Mums EH Wagon (work in progress) and Dads XP futura hardtop (stunning original cond.)

Re: Leave the Dodge in there.
I dearly love my Datsuns, but there is no way known that I would be parking that out in the weather to make room for a Datsun. I would build another shed for the Datsun instead.
For godsake, it's a classic R/T Dodge musclecar, lets get our priorities in order.
