It's actually a natural alloy colour. The lovely bronze colouration is from the light that was used when the picture was taken. Billet, T6, with Datsun logo, ... how could I resist. It comes with stainless fasteners too.

Hello, what does this part do? is it just a badge, i am thinking its not a badge as the engraving is on an angle.

Fuel pump blockoff plate. It covers the hole in the block when the fuel pump is not used.

He has an ebay shop. Stand by for link. [I hope.] Edit, oops no he doesn't have an ebay shop, but it was on US ebay. I bought it direct from him & did not bid on the ebay one.

Sorry. Link has gone. My browsing history for one whole day, about a week back, is deleted automaticly each midnight [my time] & it's after that now. We were 5 minutes too late.

He had these available too.

The picture is a 'file photo' The one I got has the logo on straight & it's not engraved, it's milled, .. on a CNC machine I presume.

He does a nice billet oil filler cap for the L series, & whaddayaknow, my Armbrust rocker cover is made for L series caps. Decisions decisions.
Actually I have one on back order, but it could be some months before it becomes available. I can wait.

The race engine actually has an old fuel pump with no guts blocking the hole

And since that engine is coming out to go into the wagon I'll need a prettier blank off
