dont the wheels stands slow you down or is it for crowd pulling effect.

Really comes down to car street cars can get away with it nicely but with alot of faster cars it will slow you down.

Plus it makes you more likely to have a nice look at a wall that doesnt move.

big wheelstands can slow you down.
the wheelstands i was getting at the tin tops were not that big,but it was getting a bit out of control.
i was leaving the line at 4000 rpm on the convertor,but with more fuel and timing and a very sticky track,the results speak for themselves.
on the biggest launch of the day i went 9.93@130mph,not too slow really.and only 4 one hundredths of a second off my best.
other cars on the day were welding up there wheelie bars after each run because they were bending and breaking them on a pass.
