 Re: Plate? This is an Australian 'compliance' plate. It confirms that the vehicle was built by, in this caser Nissan, to comply with ADR's [Australian Design Rules] Number.... then it goes on to list all of the design rule numbers that are being complied with. ADR 27 & the following 27A, B, C, etc. have to do with polution controls. The more letters, the later the model it is.
There rules deal with scttring columns, seat belts, tyres, & other construction deatails ad nauseum.
