Re: Fibreglass dash yeh i got the dash from 120fly, they are pricy but if u ask me well worth it, lots of sanding if u paint it though. this dash owes my over a $1000 and still getting a speedo and a fuel gauge so it will be close to $2000 once it is finished.

Re: Fibreglass dash Yeah pm 120fly i believe he does them. Also look on ebay, they pop up a fair bit on there. Pretty pricey theough if you ask me. 250 odd dollars just basic with no holes or anything cut. Then you need to buy all the damn gauges and last, but most certainly not least, you need to fit the bloody things.
My suggestion......Coupe dash or later model ute dash with the clock replaced by autometer tacho. Or do what i'm doing, later model ute dash with the clock still in there, dash sprayed the same colour as my body, and then a MONSTER tacho mounted down in front of the airbox. All done and dusted for peanuts.
Or go the way that i think it was whitesedan did and buy one of those sunny gl or gx dashes from japan. Bout the same as the fibreglass ones but fully complete and look great in my opinion.
Cheers Trav

Re: Fibreglass dash regarding the gl/gx dash's... the dashes you speak of are secondhand. you may be lucky and get one that is pretty immaculate. you may have trouble getting one, and if you find one you may not wanna part with the cash required to own one.

Re: Fibreglass dash yeah i thought they'd be second hand. where do i look to find one? i've tried a few times to navigate yahoo japan unsuccessfully lol. i think i might see if maddat is gonna make the carbon dashes and see what they're worth or even just go a fibreglass dash, ones like this only cost $250 i think with no gauges paint etc.

Re: Fibreglass dash Don't think this dash will develop cracks due to sun exposure. Always bad to see a datto dash cracked like the grand canyons. Mine is luckily still crack free even after 30 years. Why? Because it was constantly treated with some leather food.
