Tomei is an racing engine company in Japan. I'm guessing they made the A engine decades ago.

The engine is in a beautiful 1200 coupe Tomei built a couple of years back for the huge Nismo Festival at Mt Fuji Raceway. The car was a replica of their 70s racecar. here are several models available of this car in Japan, I have a 1/24th scale and a 1/64th Tomica in a cool box featuring some nice artwork. Nostalgia is as big in Japan as anywhere and there is a lot of old Datsun stuff being reproduced now. But nothing is cheap. The Tomica which is the same size as a Hot Wheels car cost nearly $US 50.00. The parts on the engine are still available but Tomei don't export so you will need a contact in Japan.

This guys from Tomei are missing out big time. If they were to deal with people around the world,they would make zillions.
If you go to their site,is like being iliterate,it is not posible to go through the site.
I guess there is no ambition to grow,they must be happy with their own internal market in Japan

I got to correct myself, because I contacted Tomei ,and much to my surprise I got an answer in english, and also I am getting a catalog,nice,cant wait to check it out!

I know you can get their intakes through NISMO, but it'd be awfully cool to have one of those valve covers.

This catalog, It must be a goldmine to see,this guys are fanatics ,like I am,the diference is I am a fanatic in need of $$$$$$,these guys have plenty of research and all the money needed. There is engines ,suspension,many parts,probably not a lot for the body and suspension of older Datsuns,but all the engine goodies that will make that Datsun ocupy the position it deserves,#1.
