Re: two toned datto 2 How on earth can you tell the difference between this plate & an accessory type [like dealers use sometimes] There is no state or national identifier on it & what's that on the passenger side dash top? Looks a bit like a regular NZ number plate to me. [compare with plate on vehicle accross the road]

Re: two toned datto 2 It looks like the regular rego plate is on his dashboard. DATSUN looks like it is for display purposes only.

So how can you tell the difference? What do ordinary NZ plates have as national identifiers?

Re: two toned datto 2 in nz all the number paltes are black writing on white plates except some personalised ones which hav red writing. The thing is the datsun plate looks like a road plate but is blue and it isnt uncommon to see somone with their plate on their dashboard because say their front bumper isnt there to hold it or another reason of the such. SO im a little confused as to weather it is actually a road plate.
That sedan i think is in auckland, where i live. It must live much more south from me bacause ive never seen it. Never heard from them on any forums either...
