Yes, yes, I will be making proper brackets for the filter and pump. This was just a quick Wednesday afternoon bungle to see that it will work. Now I can see how much fuel I have left, and don't have to constantly open the boot o check... The fitting is the same one I used on the other tank. It has steel and rubber seals, and I got the nut on the inside using a brazing rod and then a socket with a u-joint. The left hand vent now serves as the fuel return, and the old pickup was blocked off.
