i did sell a project ute once.

but it wasnt a 'lovely machine'

i understand that theres many reasons that cause people to sell their projects, finished or not. i had mine.

im just trying to make kegs keep it
wouldnt want him to miss it when its gone

thanks for the encouragement ange, i sorted decided a few weeks ago that i probly will keep it, rallycar, this is my only 1200 now i sold te other ute locally and reuby_tuesday now has my turbo a15 going into a 1000.

is funny i started doing a few little things in the last few weeks to pass rego and by the time id passed it i thought id start doing a few other little things then i ended up with all new i/c and piping, then my clutch went last week and i thought while i cant drive i might as well pull some bits off take em to work paint strip em and as they say bling them.....

i think its going to look to plain with it all polished i think the fins on the front of the timing cover i might paint in betwwen them red and put the coil pack cover back on what do ppl think?

make a polished coil pack cover and get DATSUN laser cut into it as a breather for the coil packs

you could put the coil pack cover back on and go body colour on the front cover perhaps? or maybe get some body colour on the engine somewhere.

but i think your idea will break it up nicely also.

hahahahaha i forgot about that now u mention it... its great it isnt in the way like the stock one... i have to remake the part welded into the tubes on the brace-arm stupid me made em out of mild steel thinking it wouldnt turnout as good as it did, actually has anyone ever polished mild and stainless together and had it clear powdercoated or just quality spray can clear coat i wonder whether it will stay the same finish after time id rather polish and coat it then remake the ends.......
